12 B.LEAGUE Foreign Players Compete For Their National Teams During The FIBA Window Full Foreign And Naturalized Player List Released

The Japan Professional Basketball League (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Shinji Shimada; hereinafter referred to as “B.LEAGUE”) announces the publication of the complete list of all foreign, naturalized, and Asia-quota players registered in the league as of the start of the November 2025 FIBA Window (commonly known as the “bye week”).
In addition, we are pleased to share that, in the various FIBA competitions currently being held around the world, 12 players from the B.LEAGUE — representing nine different countries and regions — are competing as members of their respective national teams. We kindly ask you to follow and support the B.LEAGUE players as they continue to shine on the international stage.

*‘Country/Region’ refers to the nationality registered with the B.LEAGUE.”
*Players whose league-registered nationality is Japan are excluded, even if they have been selected for a national team other than Japan’s.

The Rules for Foreign, Naturalized, and Asia-Quota Players in B.LEAGUE
Each club may register up to three foreign players. In addition to those three, a club may also register one player who is either a “naturalized Japanese citizen” or an “Asia special quota player.”
Thus, a club’s roster may include up to 4 “import-type” players: 3 foreigners + 1 naturalized or Asia-quota.
