Bam Adebayo scored 83 points as the Miami Heat defeated the Washington Wizards 150-129 in Miami on Tuesday, March 10. The Miami Heat veteran big man's 83-point night was the second-highest scoring game in NBA history, behind Wilt Chamberlain's record of 100 points, and surpassing the late Kobe Bryant's 81-point game from 2006.

There were some raves and ramblings about Bam Adebayo's historic night from around the league. Mixed reactions aside, three-time NBA champion Danny Green, who visited Manila for the second time during the weekend, was happy for Bam Adebayo and praised his historic 83-point game.

"I'm just happy for him and celebrate him. He is an amazing player; he had an amazing night. Nobody expected it to happen or come from him. But it can happen to a better person in my eyes," Green said to local journalists at NBA Store Philippines in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, on Friday, March 13. "People have their negative comments. And I hear and see what they're saying. But most records, any records you've seen happen, there's been some type of weird way of guys that had to pursue it."

"Even when Kobe got his 81, guys [were] still trying to feed the ball and still going against the clock. They were up pretty comfortably at a point in the game," he added.
