The PBA’s San Miguel Beermen and Meralco Bolts will feature as part of a doubleheader at Manila’s historic PhilSports Arena

Hong Kong SAR – East Asia Super League (EASL) is proud to announce the first-ever ‘Clash of Champions Manila’ event on Nov. 13 at Manila’s PhilSports Arena. This event consists of a doubleheader with Game 1 tipping off at 6:10 p.m.
PHT and Game 2 beginning at 8:10 PHT.

Game 1 pits the Philippine Basketball Association’s (PBA) San Miguel Beermen against the P. LEAGUE+’s Taoyuan Pauian Pilots. The Beermen currently sit at fourth place in Group A after losing its season opener on Oct. 2 to the Korean Basketball League’s (KBL)
Suwon KT Sonicboom, while the Pauian Pilots are tied for first after a surprise away victory over KT on Oct. 23.

San Miguel are led by eight-time PBA MVP June Mar Fajardo while Taoyuan boast former NBA journeyman Treveon Graham.

Game 2 features a Group B thriller between reigning PBA Champions, the Meralco Bolts, and reigning KBL Champions, the Busan KCC Egis. The Bolts have split their first two EASL games this season after beating the Macau Black Bears on Oct. 2 but losing to the
B.LEAGUE’s Ryukyu Golden Kings on Oct. 16. Busan travels to Manila fresh off of its EASL debut in Macau on Nov. 6.

Shooting guard Chris Newsome headlines Meralco after finishing in double-digit scoring in both of the Bolts’ 2024-25 EASL contests. KCC, meanwhile, signed Deonte Burton in the offseason — an athletic wing who previously spent time with the NBA’s Oklahoma City
Thunder.
