Justin Brownlee On The New Adidas Gilas Pilipinas Jerseys: 'I Like It A Lot

Gilas Pilipinas will debut its new uniforms by adidas at an exhibition game against the Macau Black Bears on July 28, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Adidas Philippines formally launched the Limited Edition Gilas Fan Pack, which includes the jersey, a drawstring bag, a sticker set, a postcard, and baller bands, at select stores. The Gilas Fan Pack is available from July 26 to August 10.

The three stripes brand recently unveiled the new official Gilas Pilipinas jerseys in early July, ahead of the FIBA Asia Cup. The Gilas jerseys are made with adidas' AEROREADY technology fabrics and other recycled materials.
Gilas Pilipinas naturalized import Justin Brownlee shared his thoughts on the new adidas Gilas jerseys:
"Oh, I like it. It's nice. You know, that blue, uh, the blue really pops off the Jersey, you know, that's something nice to see. They're light, you know. I haven't got into the game jerseys yet, but the practice jerseys, they feel very comfortable," Brownlee said with excitement after Gilas practiced at the Upper Deck Gym on Thursday. "Even the shoes and stuff. I tried the socks, the shoes, and the sandals. Everything feels real good."
"I got to be honest, I've been a Nike guy for most of my life. I like Nike. You know, I've been wearing Nike but I got to admit this adidas attire and the gear, it actually fit very well, and it's very comfortable and very stylish as well," the Gilas Pilipinas import admitted.
The resident import of the Ginebra Gin Kings, however, stressed that he has already seen the new uniforms and likes them, but has yet to wear them in a game.
"Yeah, I seen it. I haven't worn it yet, but I did see it, though. Yeah, it's nice. I like it a lot," Brownlee said.
