NBA Stars Julius Randle and Terance Mann Headline Manila Tour For Sneaker Brand Skechers This Weekend

Filipino basketball fans are in for a treat as New York Knicks forward Julius Randle and Los Angeles Clippers guard Terance Mann will be in town for sneaker brand Skechers' two-day hoop event on August 3 and 4. They'll be in Manila to promote the LA-based brand's latest basketball performance sneakers: Skechers SKX Nexus and SKX Reign.

Randle and Mann's Asia tour kicked off in Beijing, China, on July 31. Manila is the second stop of its three-city Asia tour to promote Skechers' basketball performance sneakers.

Terance Mann will be at Tenement Court in Taguig on August 3 at 9 am. He will then visit Skechers stores at ONE Ayala Mall in Makati at 1 pm and Greenhills Mall in San Juan, at 3 pm, respectively.

Meanwhile, on August 4, Julius Randle will be at the Skechers 3x3 basketball exhibition at the Market! Market! Mall's activity center in Taguig at 3 pm.

In 2023, the LA-based brand known for running sneakers officially announced Skechers Basketball, entering the competitive market by joining Nike, Jordan Brand, Adidas, Under Armour, Converse, Reebok. In the same year, Skechers signed Joel Embiid, Julius Randle, and Terance Mann to sneaker deals.

Per Nice Kicks in 2023, Julius Randle was thrilled to be part of Skechers Basketball.

"It’s been an incredible experience working with Skechers," Randle said. "They’re new to the sport, so we have the opportunity to do exciting things outside the box in a positive and impactful way."

"I love that Skechers is an L.A.-based brand. I can meet in person any time to talk about the shoes and really partner with them. They’re giving me everything that I need, and I’m looking forward to competing in Skechers," Mann added.

Julius Randle and Terance Mann have been rocking the Skechers SKX Float and SKX Resagrip last season in the NBA, respectively.

The last stop of their three-city Asia Tour will be in Tokyo, Japan.
