New Taipei Claim Last Final Four Spot, EASL Final Four 2025 Field Set

New Taipei clinches Group B’s No. 2 seed, makes history as first qualifier for consecutive EASL postseasons.
Hong Kong SAR – With a 106-96 double-overtime victory over the PBA’s Meralco Bolts, the New Taipei Kings have officially punched their ticket to Macau, claiming the final spot in EASL Final Four 2025 on the league’s final gameday.
The win caps off a strong regular season for New Taipei, who finish 4-2 and enter the postseason riding a three-game win streak. With this qualification, the Kings make history as the first team ever to reach consecutive EASL Final Fours, following their fourth-place finish in the league’s inaugural 2023-24 season.

As the last team to qualify, New Taipei completes the EASL Final Four 2025 lineup. Finishing behind the B.LEAGUE’s Ryukyu Golden Kings as Group B’s No. 2 seed, New Taipei will face Group A’s No. 1 seed, the B.LEAGUE’s Hiroshima Dragonflies, in the first semifinal. In the second semifinal, Ryukyu will take on the P. LEAGUE+’s Taoyuan Pauian Pilots, who secured their spot on Feb. 5.
EASL Final Four 2025 is set for March 7-9 at Studio City Macau. New Taipei and Hiroshima will tip off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, followed by Ryukyu vs. Taoyuan at 9:00 p.m. The winners will advance to the Championship game on Sunday, March 9, at 7:00 p.m., while the losing teams will meet in the Third-Place game earlier that day at 4:00p.m.
A $1 million prize awaits the EASL Final Four 2025 champions, with the runner-up earning $500,000 and the third-place finisher taking home $250,000.
