The two P. LEAGUE+ finalists will represent Chinese Taipei in EASL’s upcoming campaign

Hong Kong SAR — The Taoyuan Pauian Pilots and Taipei Fubon Braves of Chinese Taipei’s P. LEAGUE+ have qualified for the 2025-26 East Asia Super League season. Taoyuan returns for a second straight year, while Taipei makes its EASL comeback after competing in the inaugural 2023-24 season. Both teams secured their spots by reaching the P. LEAGUE+ Finals — with Taoyuan making its second consecutive Finals appearance and Taipei returning to the Finals for the first time since winning the championship in 2022-23.

After posting an 18-6 regular season record to clinch the No. 1 seed, the Pilots earned a bye directly to the Finals — and automatic EASL qualification. The Braves, who finished second in the regular season, faced the No. 3 seed TSG Ghosthawks in a best-of-five semifinal series, winning in TK games to punch their ticket to the championship round.

Both teams bring EASL experience. In their first-ever EASL season this year, the Pilots shocked the region by reaching the Final Four and finishing as runners-up to Japan’s Hiroshima Dragonflies. The Braves have a longer EASL history, competing in early tournaments like the Super 8 (2017), Terrific 12 (2018) and Champions Week (2023) before taking part in the 2023-24 season, where they finished 1-5 and exited in the group stage.

Taoyuan and Taipei’s P. LEAGUE+ Finals series, a best-of-seven, tips off May 5.
